Children's Health Pembroke

Pembroke Pediatrics opened in 1998 and moved into its new facility in 2003. Pembroke Pediatrics, founded by Pediatrician, Joseph Bell, MD, is located at 812 Candy Park Road in Foxglove Place. The practice has a staff of over 25, including Ginger Locklear, MD, the clinic's Medical Director, three physician assistants and two nurse practitioners. This location offers childhood obesity prevention help. Dr. Bell is the first Native American pediatrician in North Carolina and has a special interest in Native American children’s health.

• We accept Medicaid and most major insurance plans, including Tricare.

• We are not accepting walk-ins at this time. Appointments must be made in advance.

• We provide comprehensive health care services from birth to age 21.

• ADHD evaluations and treatment.

• Allergy Testing and Treatment.

• Dental flouride varnishing.

• 24-hour RN directed nurse triage with direct access to on-call provider available by calling Pembroke's clinic and following the prompts to speak with a nurse after hours.

• Minor injuries.

• Case management.

• Sick visits, including RSV, Flu, and COVID-19 testing.

• Child and family counseling with Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

• Sports, camp and kindergarten physicals.

• Well child visits.

• Women's health.

• No walk-ins, but same-day visits may be available (Must call for appointment availability).

• 8:00-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-5:00 p.m.​

• Wednesday from 8:00-12:00 p.m. and 1:45-5:00 p.m.

• 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, Sunday and most holidays
